TO BE HELD 6.30 pm Monday 6th February at the Bakersfield and Neighbourhood Community Association (BANCA) 312 Sneinton Dale

The Friends group celebrates 13 years of action this year. We will continue our campaigns to protect the woods and get site improvements . We will of course continue to do practical conservation work and hold events to bring people onto this wonderful place. This is your chance to choose your committee and influence how the group works and what we do.

Can I remind you we meet once a month at BANCA, 312 Sneinton Dale, on the first Monday of the month at 7.00 pm. We are always glad to see new faces so do come along and hear what we’re up to, or join us for a work session. A well supported Membership is vital to us and everything we do so please keep paying your subscription when it falls due. For less than the cost of a pint of beer your subscription will keep you in touch with what we do on behalf of the woods and the community, good value we hope, even in hard times!

This year the Group has 2 officer vacancies, for Secretary, and Membership Secretary for which we know we have no applicants at this time so please think if you could help. Please contact us to find out more about what is involved in any post. All officer posts must be reelected every year. Any member that wishes to put themselves forward for a position should contact the secretary at least 3 days before this Annual General Meeting.

Yours sincerely

Friends of Colwick Woods
